Downtown Water Bowl

The front entrance to Bellevue Downtown Park has this huge bowl of water in the center.
From here you walk down to the promenade that skirts the 20-acre park.
This was taken heading up the ramp to the water bowl.

  1. That is one gorgeous park. I'm sure the overflowing water bowl is symbolic...perhaps of all the water that falls in that area, giving life to plants and animals.

I think I'm missing a lot by not having visited the PNW more often!

  2. Hi Cheryl, This is a good example of why I enjoy following a neat blog like yours: finding out about this park in Bellevue. After living in the region for over 30 years, you'd think I would know about it and have checked it out. Now that I do, I will definitely go over and see what I've been missing. Very nice post and thank you for sharing! John

  4. What a nice little park; love the water bowl. On a hot, humid day like today it gives me the sense of coolness we're missing here.

  5. I love water features that drip and drizzle - maybe even more than the ones that splish and splash!!! I think it is probably very relaxing to be near it.
