Final photo of the old trestle
Straight shot back to the parking lot
This 367 sign I've seen from the road and always wondered what the significance was of 367. Seeing it from the old railroad track, makes me think perhaps it's a special marker that only the "train driver" would understand.
Mount Rainier! Looks like a lot of snow has yet to melt.
Nearing the Highway 18 overpass and the parking lot. This Cedar River Trail is great for runners, walkers, horses, hikers, bikers, scooting on scooters, and sweethearts. Awww.
I wish I had seen Mr. Tattoo coming. Now I'll never know what his "halter top" looks like from the front. Awwww.
Of the 17 miles of trail, my little portion to the trestle and back was 1.44 miles. Awwww.

What an interesting trail you have found and it even has a view of Rainier. The "halter top" is curious, maybe a heart monitor.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this series...it's a great place and if we lived there, Lois would be running and we'd be biking that trail quite often.
ReplyDeleteThat "bra" the guy is wearing is a heart-rate monitor and it's just a piece of rubbery-plastic anyway you look at it.
And I like your tongue-in-cheek fun! Keep it up, any old way you wish!
Places like this just invite exploration:-)
ReplyDeleteNice pictures Cheryl, but why didn't you chase Mr. Tattoo down and ask him to pose?
ReplyDeleteLoved taking the Cedar River tour--nicely illustrated. Does the snow ever melt on Rainier?
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend ahead!
Great series on the trestle! So many interesting things to see.
ReplyDeleteLOL, well lets hope it was something strapped to him to register his heart rate, and not a halter top. LOL. Thanks for your visits. Nice photos you posted.
