Picking Out Picturesque Pathway Points

The best part of walking is discovering things you never notice when driving past.
This perky pickup has to be someone's pride and joy.

Cyclists, even motor-tricyclists, are common on the busy two-lane highway. It is more fun to watch them from afar than to have them stuck next to your car.
Several little bridges give a different perspective on common sights.
A shady character waves.
Good lord, does this shadow make me look fat?
Ah, PhotoCheating to the rescue!
Away from the highway, a few buildings are hidden among the trees. Remember, I do not stray off the pathway.
The bright yellow field does its best to bring a little comfort and cheer to the dear old shack.
Murky mud puddles silently signal the nearness of the river. Amazing that rancid looking water can so beautifully reflect the gorgeous blue sky.
The trusty, rusty trestle! My delightful destination!
I won't know how far I've walked until I return to my car and check my pedometer.

  2. Good for you, getting exercise and taking pictures and having fun! So, what did the pedometer tell you?

I love that truck, too...that's been reconstructed with loving hands!

  3. Thanks for your very funny comment today. And you're right on...come Monday they'll all be waiting for Friday (or Saturday - as some work on Saturday, too!)...

Hope you're having a nice Sunday!
